Meet Hana Koko on the Beat
Hannah “Koko” was born in Hawaii and is Korean American. She grew up in her mother’s hair salon and loved watching her mom transform the women in her chair, leaving them feeling like a new woman and how their spirits got lifted immediately once they saw their new look. This helped her find her passion in using her gifts to help people feel magnificent when they look at themselves in the mirror. Her philosophy is, “if you look good, you feel good, and you will do good.”
4 year old baby Koko, like many others probably loved watching their moms get glammed up. She would sneak into her mother’s vanity and play around with all of her cosmetics. As years went by and Youtube really blew up, she would watch tons of tutorials and experiment on herself. She later went on to study make up at Studio Crush in Atlanta and has been a freelance artist for 2 years now.
Her skillsets range from beauty, bridal, male grooming, airbrushing, special effects and so much more. Whenever she is not doing make up, she is either being a huge foodie or practicing yoga. She believes yoga has taught her that every practice helps you grow and to learn how to accept exactly where you are ♡
